2022 GMC Yukon was Built For Families

Your family deserves to have an SUV that brings the most capability, quality, and size to the market. That SUV should be the 2022 GMC Yukon. Offered in two lengths, the traditional Yukon has three rows of seats with a small cargo area behind the rear seats, while the Yukon XL offers a larger wheelbase with more room behind this rear row to make sure you have the added cargo area and a little more legroom during your drive. The Yukon brings you much more than a spacious cabin, but that will be the factor you notice first about this full-size SUV.

Your Drive is Everything You Want

You’re going to feel like you’re ruling the road from behind the wheel of the 2022 GMC Yukon. This big SUV puts you up in a high seating position with a massive vehicle at your fingertips. Every model has a new independent rear suspension to give you added cargo area and a smoother drive than what you would have found in older models of this SUV. Higher trims can benefit from the standard Magnetic Ride Control feature that gives you electronically controlled shocks that absorb the punishment the road has to offer.

New and Impressive Qualities of the 2022 GMC Yukon

Shopping for the GMC Yukon is easy. It’s the biggest vehicle at the GMC dealership. When you see it, you’ll know it’s a large vehicle with tons of cabin space, but what you might not know is that you have the choice of the engine you want to use during your drive. This SUV also has a new Driver Information Center display which is a standard part of every vehicle. The Buckle to Drive feature is added to ensure you’re always buckled up before heading out on the roads.

Configure the Cabin the Right Way

The SLE trim is the starting point for the Yukon, and it comes with an eight-passenger configuration. You can add a front bench seat and have room for nine people in this vehicle. As you move up the trims, you’ll find models that offer the option of captain’s chairs in the second row, which brings the total number to seven seats.

The cargo area of the Yukon gives you 25.5 cubic feet of room, but the XL model increases that number to 41.5 cubic feet of space. Fold the third row down to enjoy 72.6 cubic feet of space in the regular model or 93.8 cubic feet in the XL trim.

The Style of the 2022 GMC Yukon is Unmistakable

All models of this big, hulking SUV have a set of roof rails to give you another place to carry the carry your family will need to take along during the drive. You’ll have a set of standard LED fog lights and enjoy the power-retractable steps that can be part of the AT4 and Denali trim if you select this feature. The AT4 and Denali models have unique exterior items to match their trim names and give you the look that you’re sure to admire.

Moving On Up

While the base model of the GMC Yukon is impressive, the SLT trim gives you more to make your drive even better. This trim brings you a hands-free liftgate, the Safety Alert Seat, 20-inch alloy wheels, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, memory settings for the driver’s seat, heated/ventilated front seats, perforated leather upholstery, a self-dimming rearview mirror, and wireless charging.
Every model can be upgraded with 4WD (standard for the AT4 trim), and the base model can be upgraded with blind-spot monitoring to give you more safety for your drive.

Choose the AT4 trim, and you have an off-road SUV with a two-speed transfer case, heated outboard second-row seats, and a heated/power-adjustable steering wheel.

The Denali trim gives you a 14-speaker Bose surround-sound system, a 360-degree camera system, a head-up display, and rear pedestrian alerts.
The SLT trim can be improved with the Luxury package. This gives your GMC Yukon SLT the safety features found on the higher trims. You’ll also see an AT4 Premium package that adds a power panoramic sunroof and the power-retractable side steps.

If you want the most features you can have for this SUV, the Denali trim with the Ultimate package is what you want. This package gives you adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a rear camera mirror, and the Max Trailering package.

To give your family some entertainment during the drive, the top three trims can be upgraded with a dual-screen rear-seat entertainment system.
