Acura ZDX

The 2024 Acura ZDX will be the Acura brand’s first fully electric vehicle. This luxury SUV will be the first to feature Google’s built-in integration, offering straightforward access to apps like Google Assistant, Google Maps, and Google Play. At your local Acura dealer, every trim level of the ZDX will come standard with this connected technology, demonstrating Acura’s commitment to electrification and innovation.

Read on to learn more about the amazing ZDX coming to an Acura dealer near you soon.

Seamless Digital Experience

Google’s built-in system provides a seamless digital experience through direct integration into the vehicle’s operating system. This setup differs from Apple CarPlay, which mirrors your phone’s screen, or Android Automotive OS, which controls the entire operating system.

With built-in Google Maps, Acura ZDX drivers will have optimized route planning to help find charging stations. Google Maps can estimate charging times to reach your destination and precondition the battery for faster charging at DC fast charging stations, helping to reduce range anxiety and making road trips much more fun.

Intelligent Features

In addition to navigation, the Acura ZDX will offer intelligent features through Google Assistant. You can control functions like heating, cooling, and music playback using simple voice commands. Google Play will provide access to music streaming, podcasts, audiobooks, and more. Over time, additional services are expected to become available in the ZDX through over-the-air software updates from your Acura dealer.

Accelerating into the Future

With an advanced electric powertrain providing instantaneous acceleration, the ZDX delivers a thrilling driving experience. The precise all-wheel drive system provides incredible control and handling. Regenerative braking technology helps maximize range by channeling energy back to the high-capacity battery pack. This beast produces over 400 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, allowing the ZDX to sprint from zero to 60 miles per hour in around 3 seconds, putting drivers in the center of the action and leaving rivals in the dust.

Striking Styling

Along with its advanced digital capabilities, the Acura ZDX’s design follows the styling of the Precision EV concept shown last year. The ZDX features an eye-catching silhouette with dramatic arching lines and an aggressive front.

Inside the spacious cabin, premium materials provide an upscale experience for all passengers. With the new ZDX, every seat is the best seat in the house.

Part of a Wider EV Strategy

The Acura ZDX is part of Honda’s partnership strategy for developing EVs. Both the Acura ZDX and the Honda Prologue will use General Motors’ Ultium platform, which has proven itself to be an excellent system for EVs. This strategic partnership will allow Honda to launch EVs faster while gaining access to advanced technology. Honda is also helping Sony launch their new Afeela EV brand, with the first model hitting North America in 2026. While leveraging strategic partners, Honda is placing big bets on connectivity, digital experiences, and striking design for their own electrified vehicles like the innovative new Acura ZDX.
