The ROUSH team never rests on their laurels, so they came up with even more improvements to make the ROUSH Ranger more potent under the hood. And with its more aggressive looks and satisfying roar, this truck is a head-turner.
Now, let’s take a look at some of the performance and design improvements for 2021.
Maximum Wow Factor
Every ROUSH Ranger starts from a Ford Ranger XLT trim with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine. ROUSH engineered their Level 1 Performance Pac to improve the Ranger’s performance by 47 rear-wheel horsepower and 65 rear-wheel torque.
If you’re looking for more aggressive performance—but want to stay street legal—the Level 2 Performance Pac adds the ROUSH-developed cat-back exhaust system. The larger intake tube and improved airflow maximize the ROUSH Ranger’s horsepower and torque while improving the throttle response throughout the RPM range. And the aggressive tone from the cat-back exhaust system will make your hair stand on end.
Of course, this Ranger is meant to spend quality time off-road. The ROUSH-tuned Fox 2.0 Performance Suspension System raises the front end to give the truck a more athletic stance and improves on-pavement performance. Also new for 2021is a set of 18-inch satin black signature wheels with massive 32-inch General Tire Grabber A/TX all-terrain tires. With the updated Performance Pacs, you have the power to blaze your own trails.
They’ll See You Rollin’
ROUSH has included some aggressive style updates to go along with the performance improvements. The new wheels and tires now work beneath larger flared fenders in Magnetic Gray. The fender flares have ROUSH badging and integrated accent lighting. And if that’s not eye-catching enough, ROUSH now offers the Ranger in three new colors: Cactus Gray, Carbonized Gray, and Cyber Orange Metallic. This is in addition to their regular palette of silver, white, red, blue, and black.
Luxury that Lasts
Inside the 2021 ROUSH Ford Ranger, you’ll find the same premium quilted leather seating and Ford’s robust SYNC infotainment system with Apple and Android compatibility. You’ll also get the signature ROUSH gauge cluster and removable WeatherTech floor liners.
They’ve also upped the game on storage with an available locking console vault, perfect to stow your sunglasses, phone, and wallet. There’s also an available rear-seat vault that adds secure storage under the back bench seat.
Now Add Your Signature
There is a huge list of performance and design upgrades available in the ROUSH Ford Ranger. But you may still want to add your unique style to make it truly your own. Among the optional upgrades available, you’ll find:
- Several graphics packages to create a signature look for your pickup.
- The Baja-inspired ROUSH Chase Rack. This durable rack features dual Rigid 10-inch SR-Series light bars and sits above the bed, so you don’t lose cargo space. Get ‘em while you can, though. This popular option won’t be around for long.
- The ROUSH Off-Road Utility Kit including towing shackles, jumper cables, a tow strap, LED flashlight, utility ratchet straps in a handy carrying bag.
New Year, New ROUSH Ford Ranger
ROUSH continues to raise the bar on style and performance in the ROUSH Ford Ranger. If you’re ready to spice up your truck life, you can add their packages as aftermarket options or track down one at your local dealer.
