Retro is Back (Part 2)

Style matters, but many of us aren’t looking for the most futuristic styling offered in the car they drive. Instead, we love to see a car that brings back the styling features we loved in the past, typically several decades in the past, and offers us a modern application of these features. With that in mind, there are several cars that have been built to offer the retro look and feel that you want when you drive while making it possible for you to have more power, more safety, and more engaging driving experience than in the past.

A Selection of Retro Models You’re Sure to Love

Ford GT

This car may still be hated by Ferrari because it’s the one car that was able to win the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the 1960s, taking down the racing legend of Ferrari. Redesigned a couple of times in the past decade or more, the Ford GT is one of the most incredible sports cars on the market and one that certainly makes its way into our hearts and imagination.

Get behind the wheel and admire the look that dates back that’s married to the drive that’s certainly one of the modern eras.

Porsche 911

It would be extremely difficult for you to find a 911 that doesn’t look similar to the ones of today. The style was perfected in 1964 when the car first arrived and it’s still in use today. This car combines the big round headlights and the rear-engine layout together to give you a true sports car that has the purest of retro designs.

Ford Thunderbird

While the second coming of this car didn’t last very long, this car is one that looks right and dates back to an original that we loved to drive. This car stands out as a car that is smooth, stylish, and powerful to make it a vehicle that would be right for you to drive. You can still find a few of these models for the ride you want to enjoy every day.

Dodge Challenger

You can’t deny the retro look of the Challenger. This car appears to have been plucked from the 1960s to be added to the market that we live in today. Thankfully, Dodge added more of what we want in this car to be the model that you’re sure to enjoy driving when you want a muscle car that still looks like the muscle cars of old.

Nissan Pao

Here’s a car that’s only offered in the Japanese market as a small Kei car and it certainly looks like a model that’s probably been driving on the roads since the 1950s. This little car was actually offered in the late 1980s as a model that was easy to enjoy around the city. Because it’s been more than 25 years, this is a car that can now be imported to the US.

Ford Mustang

The revamped Ford Mustang began its life with the retro style in 2005 as a car that looked like it time-jumped from the 1960s.
