If you’ve ordered an all-new Chevrolet Blazer EV from your local Chevrolet Dealer, your new vehicle is coming! Chevy announced late last month that the automaker has begun shipping out models of newly minted EV Blazers from the factory. Drivers who ordered one should expect their delivery soon.
The first-ever delivery of the Blazer EV will only apply to all-wheel drive RS models. The automaker announced that it will begin production of the rear-wheel drive RS and all-wheel drive 2LT trim later this fall, with deliveries following shortly after.
What Can You Expect with the Chevrolet Blazer EV?
The Blazer promises power, comfort, and convenience. In its gas-powered variant, the Blazer has grown to be a dependable SUV known for its comfortable cabin and rugged capability. As the SUV transitions to an EV, it is expected to deliver the same great performance and comfort features and then some.
The stylish exterior sees modern influences, including a cleaner grill, sleek and commanding lines, and the perfect blend of Chevy branding without disruptive styling.
As you make your way to the cabin, you’ll be greeted with innovative tech and the latest comfort features to enhance your experience when you are behind the wheel.
Tech includes an impressive 17.7-inch diagonal display screen, an 11-inch driver information screen, a hands-free start system, wireless charging, modern style and color accents, and so much more.
Discover Ultium Power in the Chevrolet Blazer EV
The Blazer EV is built on GM’s Ultium platform. This platform powers up all GM electric vehicles and delivers exceptional electric performance to models in the brand’s portfolio. RS trims tout a range of 279 miles, with the entry-level 2LT delivering the same. Drivers eyeing the sporty SS can look forward to an estimated range of 290 miles.
Chevy Finalizes Pricing For Blazer EV
The automaker has also announced the final MSRP ranges for the Blazer EV and its available trims. The RS all-wheel drive has a starting MSRP of $60,215.
Opting for base model 2LT all-wheel drive and RS rear-wheel drive variants brings with it a suggested retail price of $56,715 and $61,790, respectively.
While the starting MSRP falls in line with the pricier sticker tag of an all-new EV, there are still ways to save. With this new vehicle purchase, drivers will be eligible for the available New Clean Vehicle federal tax credit of up to $7,500.
Depending on where you live, you may qualify for even more state and local tax credits that can help bring down the costs of a new electric vehicle further. It’s worth mentioning this tax credit applies to new plug-in EVs, new fuel cell vehicles, and qualifying used electric and fuel cell vehicles.
